wolfX & dipping our toes into audio

One massive, but a bit of time away, part of the Writ Large Projects is Writ Large Studios, through which we will be producing digital books (text and audio), podcasts, videos & other crazy things that pop into our heads at some point.

But to kick off on this long and exciting road, we have our first audio project available now.

This is a wolf (Chiwan Choi) X Black Self Help Moving & Storage (Peter Woods) collaboration. It’s part of the wolfX series of collaborations that Chiwan started with his book, my name is wolf, to encourage remixing and sampling of literature (which is also why he released the book as public domain).

Chiwan made specific sets, playlists, for each artist. Each set was made up of 3 or 4 segments from the book that created its own arc.

The set given to Peter was called “my name is wolf (white was always the color of death)” and it included a recording Chiwan made on his voice notes.

From there, Peter did his thing.

Let us know if you think $2 for this download feels like a good price. As we continue on our overall audio vision, we want to figure out what prices do right by the author, the listener & the publisher.

Speaking of digital books, we have upcoming books from Trista Hurley-Waxali and Kate Maruyama that will be serialized and sent to your inbox. STAY TUNED.
